Edward Agyemang – Ghana
Edward Agyemang is a Principal Health Informatics Officer at the Ghana Ministry of Health, where he serves as the Schedule Officer for the National eHealth Project. His Doctorate Degree focuses on Electronic Health Record Systems and Health Service Delivery in Ghana.
He holds a Master’s degree in Health Informatics and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Informatics from the University of Ghana. He furthered his education with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Education in Winneba.
Being a young professional, he has interacted with influential government officials, private sector leaders, and quasi-governmental figures in the digital health arena. Notably, the Government of Ghana recognized his potential and nominated him to undergo training on digital transformation in public healthcare at the prestigious National University of Singapore.
Edward has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to public and digital health throughout his career and has contributed to the field through scientific publications.
